How a dress is scored
A dress's score in each style tag is its patterns' own values, plus every fabric's value weighted by how much of the dress it covers, plus its accessories. The skirt counts for 40% of the dress, the bodice 35%, sleeves 15% and the collar 10% (rescaled over the parts you use), and each panel by its share of its part's area, measured on the mannequin. Accessories add their values with diminishing returns, each one of the same tag counting 85% of the one before, and every accessory adds 1 Elaborate. Scores round up.
Quality for a client is 30% grain, 20% fit and 50% seam accuracy; for gifts and dresses you sell it's 40% grain and 60% seams. Paid commissions pay their full budget even if you miss a requirement; success brings 1 relationship and up to 1 prestige, shrinking as you complete more. The full rules are on the methodology page.
