Breeding planner

Enter both parents' attributes and see the exact chance of every value the egg can roll, and which parent to put first.

What nobody else has: the egg rules read from the game's own egg generator. The higher parent's value only comes through 20.79% of the time, and the order of the parents changes the result.

Parent A

Total 75

Parent B

Total 70

Put parent A first: the egg's expected total is 77.4 instead of 75.9. Each attribute is the lower parent's 19.8% of the time, the higher parent's 20.8%, and otherwise a value between the two (or the first parent's value, when the first parent is the higher one).

Egg total over 75 loses random points until it's 75. With these parents that can happen; average egg after the cap: 15.7 / 12.3 / 12.3 / 17.7 / 15.8.

The rules

  • For each of the five attributes the game rolls 0–100: below 20 gives the lower parent's value (19.80%), 80 and up the higher parent's (20.79%), and the rest (59.41%) a value between them.
  • In that middle band, if the first parent is the lower one the egg gets an even pick from the first parent's value up to the second's; if the first parent is the higher one, the egg simply gets the first parent's value. So put the higher parent first when you want to keep high values.
  • After all five rolls, while the egg's total is above 75 the game removes one point from a random attribute.
  • Henry's parental care upgrades raise the share of a parent's score an egg inherits to 65%, 80%, 100% (the base 50% is community-reported, not in the data).
