Drop in your save and your checklist ticks itself: every weapon, armor piece, talisman, Ash of War and item you own, the bosses you've felled and the graces you've lit, with what's still missing by region.

Your save is read on this device. It is never uploaded or sent anywhere, and we never change it.

Where is my save?

Quit to the desktop first, so the game has written everything to the file.

  • Windows: %APPDATA%\EldenRing\, then the folder named with a long number, then ER0000.sl2.
  • Steam Deck and Linux: ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1245620/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Roaming/EldenRing/, then the same numbered folder.

PC saves only for now. Seamless Co-op's .co2 saves use the same format and should work too.

How your save is read

An ELDEN RING PC save holds ten character slots. For the one you pick, we read your inventory and storage chest, and the game's own event flags: the flag each Site of Grace sets when you light it (from BonfireWarpParam) and the flag each boss arena sets when its boss falls (from GameAreaParam). Weapons count once whatever their upgrade level or affinity.

Every slot is checked against its own MD5 checksum, so an edited or damaged file is pointed out. Some flags, mostly Shadow of the Erdtree's, live where saves can't be read reliably yet; those stay unticked for you to tick, rather than guessed.

File-layout knowledge comes from the community's save documentation (ER-Save-Editor, Apache 2.0); the reader itself is our own and runs entirely in your browser.
