Outposts Unknown map: Daegus
Verified on build 26073738Interactive mapDaegus: what is fixed in every game (water sources, tetryon impact sites, probes and landmarks) and every spot the map generator can use, with what the game’s spawn rules can place there.
How this map works: each new game builds the planet from the same terrain. Some things are placed by the planet itself and are always where the map shows them: water sources, tetryon impact sites, Starfleet probes, giant trees, geological formations and the Irradiating Nexus. Everything else comes from a fixed pool of spots: the game picks a subset each new game from its map seed and places deposits, research sites and points of interest on them. Open a spot to see what the spawn rules can put there: each row is the rule's count and its distance band.
Starting location: 3 in the scene; one is picked per new game.

How we checked it (self-check report)
one pixel per metre over the scene's 4 × 4 terrain tiles (1000 m each), px = worldX − (-1000), py = 3000 − worldZ. Exact from the files; nothing is fitted.
the scene's own terrain (heightmap relief and splat weights of 14 terrain layers). Each layer's colour is the colour the game's own minimap capture (Map1) shows for it: least squares over 997,722 cells of 4 m (RMS error 23.1 / 21.9 / 23.8 on 0–255). Only colours are fitted, never positions.
the terrain's height edges against the edges of the game's minimap capture, both on a 4 m grid, correlated for every shift up to 48 m. Best shift 1, 0 cells (4 m; correlation 0.122 against 0.105 unshifted). Gate: 12 m.
383 points in Scene_Scenario_MV_DefaultMap.unity (SpawnPoints_Big 26, SpawnPoints_B1 51, SpawnPoints_B2 79, SpawnPoints_B3 32, SpawnPoints_Research_B1 34, SpawnPoints_Research_B2 68, SpawnPoints_Research_B3 23, SpawnPoints_Story_B1 20, SpawnPoints_Story_B2 22, SpawnPoints_Story_B3 4, SpawnPoints_Story 24). Spawn rules: VistaAgentSpawnRules_001 (38 rules), the scenario's idForSpawning in SimScenarioExcelRules.
The build refuses to publish the map if the terrain and the game's own minimap are more than 12 m apart, or if a marker has no source record, an unknown layer, a duplicate id, or lies outside the map.
